impermanence - the collection

My new collection created during the summer and fall of 2021

I decided to name this collection impermanence. A small selection of mixed media on paper and embroidery hoops. It's about how change is inevitable and sometimes that can be really hard to cope with. Painting and creating is a way for me to let go and work through difficult states of being. I never know how the painting or embroidery will turn out. I just start with a color palette and let my feelings and intuition guide me.

I used different types of media. Watercolor, gouache, colored pencils, watercolor pencils, acrylic markers, oil pastels and embroidery thread. All on high quality watercolor paper.
